The song is about how Eminem considers his daughter as a source of happiness and inspiration, as well as strength to face life’s hardships. Xzibit - Foundation Xzibit expresses his love for his son and hands out his own fatherly advice regarding the streets and women. “Survival takes more than just gats and guns, That’s words to live by From a father to a son.” The song “Foundation” is the second single from Xzibit’s debut album “At The Speed of Life”, and was released in 1996. DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill produced this track.
